Branston Baked Camembert Puff Pastry Wheel

This Christmas show-stopper involves rolling Branston pickle and cheddar up in puff pastry and baking it with a big wheel of Camembert. You then take each little Branston and cheddar puff pastry wheel and dip it into the melting cheese for one of the most satisfying bites of the season. What a way to bring out the Branston!
Ingredients
- 2-3 tbsp of Branston Small Chunk
- 1 puff pastry
- 200g grated Cheddar
- 1 egg
- 1 wheel of Camembert
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180c.
- Spread a sheet of puff pastry with Branston and sprinkle cheddar over the top.
- Roll the sheet from the bottom, upwards so that you are left with a long sausage. Slice this into swirls, roughly 2cm wide.
- Lay the swirls out around the wheel of Camembert, on a baking tray. Brush the edges of the pastry with egg wash and bake in the oven for 30 minutes, until puffed out and golden.
- Serve as soon as the pastry is cool enough to touch. Enjoy!
